How to Install and Operate Optipow Dust Collector Solenoid Valve？

Optipow Dust Collector Solenoid Valve is a device that controls the flow of compressed air to the filter bags in a dust collector system. It is designed to optimize the cleaning performance and reduce the energy consumption of the system. In this blog post, we will show you how to install and operate Optipow Dust Collector Solenoid Valve in a few simple steps.

Step 1: Mount the valves on the valve tank or manifold. The most important is to make sure the valve is oriented correctly, with the arrow on the body pointing in the direction of the air flow. Use a wrench to tighten the nuts and bolts securely.

Step 2: Connect the electrical wiring to the coil terminals. Follow the wiring diagram provided with the valve and use appropriate wire connectors. Make sure the power supply matches the coil voltage and frequency. The coil voltages we can supplier are 24VDC, 100V, 110V, 120V and 230V.

Step 3: Connect the pilot air tubing to the pilot cover on the valve. Use a push-in fitting or a compression fitting to attach the tubing. The pilot air pressure should be between 2 and 6 bar.

Step 4: Then test the valve operation by applying power to the coil. The valve should open and close smoothly and without leaks. You can adjust the opening and closing time of the valve by turning the screws on the top of the coil.

Step 5: Set up the cleaning cycle for your dust collector system. You can use a timer or a differential pressure controller to trigger the valve operation. The cleaning cycle should be optimized according to your system parameters, such as filter type, dust load, air flow, etc.
